WURD Radio hosted our annual Founder’s Day celebration, celebrating the life and legacy of WURD founder Walter P. Lomax Jr., M.D., on Wednesday, August 31, at the Parkway Central branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia. The day included a job and resource fair, mindful movement activities, panel discussions, the second annual Community Impact Awards, a WURD host roundtable, forWURD member salon, a cooking demonstration and tasting, and live music.

If you weren’t able to attend (or just want to relive the day), you can watch highlights, replay the panel discussions and Community Impact Awards presentation ceremony below.
