This week on WURD: Jennifer Hudson brings holiday cheer, SEPTA fares soar, remembering Judith Jamison

Grammy award-winning artist Jennifer Hudson joined Dr. James Peterson on Evening WURDs to talk about her newly released Christmas album “The Gift of Love.” Hudson discussed the process of making the album and her career victory lap this year.

Joan Myers Brown, a trailblazing force in Philadelphia’s arts community and the founder of Philadanco—the Philadelphia Dance Company—joined Dr. Peterson on Evening WURDs. Brown reflected on the legacy of the late Judith Jamison, who passed away this weekend.
