District Attorney Larry Krasner spoke on Wake Up With WURD with Solomon Jones about the newly appointed SEPTA prosecutor who will handle SEPTA-related crimes through Act 40. Krasner argued that it unconstitutionally dismantled his geographic jurisdiction and stripped the DA’s core prosecutorial functions.

Inquirer journalist Melanie Burney and Lawyer Jeffrey Fritz spoke to Solomon detailing the controversial case of the Camden School Board President who allegedly sexually abused a student over the course of several years.

Nia Coaxum is the Philly Joy Bank Program Manager within the Division of Maternal, Child, and Family Health. Founder of Love Now Media, Jos Duncan-Asé, spoke with Dr. James Peterson on Evening WURDs for the Love Now segment to discuss “Making Love in the Age of AI.” She explained how love can intersect with the rapid utilization of artificial intelligence and how to design AI to mitigate unequal social systems.
