Harry Dunn and Aquilino Gonell, officers who were assaulted during the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, shared their experiences on Evening WURDs with Dr. James Peterson. They shed light on the trauma inflicted by rioters and their efforts to prevent Donald Trump’s presidential re-election.

Dr. Amra Sabic-El-Rayess, an associate professor at Columbia University’s Teacher’s College and survivor of the 1992-95 Bosnian Genocide, joined Andrea Lawful-Sanders on The Source. She recounted her own survival story amidst heightened ethnic intolerance in Bosnia.

Macollvie J. Neel, the executive editor of The Haitian Times, participated in Evening WURDs to discuss her article, “The EminiFX Trap.” Her investigation revealed a Haitian cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme exploiting church networks and unmonitored digital platforms, amassing a staggering $250 million.

Attorney and WURD host Michael Coard shared his legal insights on Wake Up With WURD with Solomon Jones, addressing the Georgia Appeals Court’s decision to halt Trump’s Georgia election fraud case amid consideration of disqualifying lead prosecutor Fani Willis.

Saul Landers, also known as “CEO Big Duke,” spoke with P.O.C. on ecoWURD Magazine, highlighting a new bi-weekly food market in Southwest Philly. This initiative aims to tackle local food insecurity by providing free food to residents.
