Carl Singley is a retired dean of Temple University Law and founded one of the largest Black law firms in Philadelphia. Singley joined Dr. James Peterson on Evening WURDs to talk about how Trump is eroding the structure of American democracy through his flurry of executive orders.

A’Lelia Bundles is an American journalist and author, best known for her biographies of her great-great-grandmother, Madam C.J. Walker. Bundles joined Reality Check with Tonya Pendleton to talk about her book: “Joy Goddess: A’Lelia Walker & the Harlem Renaissance,” a biography of Madam C.J. Walker’s daughter, A’Lelia Walker, who became America’s first high-profile Black heiress.

Erika Alexander and Kim Coles are actresses who played prominent roles in the beloved Black sitcom “Living Single” and are now co-hosts of the podcast “ReLiving Single.” They joined Reality Check to discuss how the podcast began, how they’ve kept in touch with former cast members and gave insider knowledge on how the film industry works.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel joined Wake Up With WURD with Solomon Jones to update listeners on the investigation progress of the Lemon Hill shooting. Bethel discussed how officers are utilizing social media and forensics to solve the case.

Jasmine Wright is a national political reporter from the Allbritton Journalism Institute. She joined Dr. Peterson to discuss the administration’s “Make America Healthy Again” report, which was littered with inaccuracies and dead links.
