Legendary author Alice Walker speaks on new book, life and career

WURD Radio held a special in-person edition of the Black WURDs Book Club on Thursday at Comcast Technology Center!

WURD President & CEO Sara Lomax-Reese and Harriett’s Bookshop owner Jeannine Cook conducted an exclusive interview with legendary author Alice Walker, appearing virtually, on her new book “Gathering Blossoms Under Fire.” Singer Laurin Talese also performed to open the event.
