About Black Voters Matter (#BlackVotersMatter)

 #BlackVotersMatter is a community organizing and empowerment project that was initiated as a solution to the rising frustrations surrounding social injustice and economic disparities in African American communities.  Serving as a people powered political strategy, Black Voters Matter uses “high tech and high touch” to educate and engage communities in the election process, ultimately providing a voice to the voiceless, by harnessing the passion that fuels protests and demonstrations to be exerted at the polls.

Our goal is to engage, empower and connect Philadelphia’s next generation of civic and business leadership through the use of technology and events.
