We’ve discussed the painful events of the last several days on our airwaves a lot. Sadly, it’s not a new conversation in our community. It feels like a barely healed scab that keeps getting ripped open again and again. And it can make you weary.
We believe we need a space for healing. We invite you to join 900AM-WURD for a “Healers” gathering on Sunday, July 17 from 4-6pm at the African-American Museum, located at 701 Arch Street. We will be led in mindful movement by Dr. Carol Penn; spiritual mind treatment by Dr. Beverly Toporowski, and drumming with Marcy Francis.
Come as you are. Bring your friends and family. It’s free and open to the public, however a free-will offering would be appreciated.
