Join WURD Radio for a special live broadcast celebrating the rich history and vibrant future of African-American heritage sites in the Greater Philadelphia region. Set during the nation’s 250th anniversary year, this event is a collaboration between the Friends of the Tanner House and the Free Library of Philadelphia, supported by 250PA.

  • North Philadelphia: A Black Freedom Jawn

  • Center for the Preservation of Civil Rights Sites

  • Philadelphia Archaeological Forum discussing the President’s House/Slavery Memorial and African American archaeology sites

This Black Cultural Heritage Resource Fair is a unique opportunity to engage with the initiatives preserving our collective stories. Whether you are interested in historical preservation, genealogy, or local arts, this event offers a space to explore the “unvarnished truth of the Black experience”.
