Attorney general candidates Joe Khan, Jared Solomon, Keir Bradford-Grey and Eugene DePasquale were able to showcase their political plans for listeners on The Source with Andrea Lawful-Sanders. The candidates outlined their proposed policies regarding gun violence and reform, senior care and social media reform.

State Sen. Vincent Hughes spoke to Solomon Jones on Wake Up With WURD about ongoing revitalization efforts for minority-owned businesses in Philadelphia after he embarked on a tour with U.S. Sen. Bob Casey at 52nd and Market streets. 

Devon Ombres is the senior director for courts and legal policy at Center for American Progress. He joins the launch of the segment “Centering Progress” on Evening WURDs with Dr. James Peterson to dissect the Supreme Court’s recent hearings on the Murthy v. Mississippi case on misinformation and the government’s relationship with social media companies. 

Jude Husein is the director of state advocacy for the Pennsylvania State Senate and spoke to Carol Riddick on Love & Life to discuss her identity as the only Arab woman in the general assembly. She also spoke about recent legislation on gun violence and voter engagement.

Rev. Gregory Holston, Melissa Robbins and Desmond McKinson joined Solutions with Amadee Braxton to discuss the newly established Coalition to Defend Democracy, which pushes back against Act 40, the law that grants the state attorney general jurisdiction over Philadelphia’s DA in SEPTA-related cases.
