Actor and comedian Chris Tucker joined Solomon Jones on Wake Up with WURD to discuss his rise to comedy and movie stardom and his stand-up show, “The Legend Tour 2023” on Oct. 18, at The Met Philadelphia.

Rev. Gregory Holston joined Joann Bell on Evening WURDs to discuss Pennsylvania Senate Republicans cutting 65% of the gun violence prevention budget and what the future of gun violence prevention looks like for Philadelphia.

Omari Bervine, president of Fraternal Order of Transit Police Lodge 109, joined Wake Up with WURD to talk about the possibility of a SEPTA police strike and what they are looking for from a new contract.
