WURD Radio, Pennsylvania’s only African-American talk radio station, in partnership with the Barnes Foundation,  will host a powerful discussion with the top African American leaders at four major area universities to explore their personal journeys and how their work is impacting Philadelphia’s Black community. The panel includes:

Brian Blake, Provost, Drexel University

JoAnne A. Epps, Provost, Temple University

Phoebe Haddon, Chancellor, Rutgers University, Camden

Wendell Pritchett, Provost, University of Pennsylvania 

Moderated by WURD host and community activist, Eric “Brother Shomari” Grimes, the panel will precede the Barnes Foundation’s First Fridays Celebration. Blackademia is a part of WURD’s Walter P.
