The African American Museum and Citizens Bank invites you to enjoy a full weekend of fun, inspirational, family-friendly activities in celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr!
AAMP’s 2017 MLK Weekend kicks off with a special screening of Ava DuVernay’s Netflix special screening, 13th, presented in partnership with Reelblack. Then, the weekend continues from Saturday to Monday with three full days of interactive and enlightening arts activities, performances and workshops. Guests can also explore our core exhibit, Audacious Freedom: African Americans in Philadelphia, 1776-1876. Thanks to the generosity of Citizens Bank, the museum’s admission will be reduced to $2 for all guests during the MLK Weekend Celebration festivities. Click here to purchase tickets.
