WURD Radio has been named a finalist for the 2026 Webby Awards, standing as the only local broadcast station nominated in its category. The station’s acclaimed series, “Exonerated: The Cost of Wrongful Conviction,” is competing for Best Podcast: Interview or Talk Show—a premier global honor recognizing excellence in digital media and justice-centered storytelling.
