The Kim Potter Case: Linn Washington Jr. is a professor of journalism at Temple University, where he is a co-founder of the award-winning Multimedia Urban Reporting Lab. In addition to his Temple degrees, Washington holds a law degree from Yale University. He joined Wake Up With WURD to talk about the troubling case of Kim Potter, the former police officer who killed Daunte Wright, and white supremacists in the prison system.

COVID-19 News: Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and chief medical advisor to President Biden, joined Reality Check host Charles Ellison to give an update on the pandemic. The Roots of Violence: Dr. Bandy Lee, forensic psychiatrist, violence expert, editor of “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump” and president of the World Mental Health Coalition, spoke with Nick to unpack the rising violence in the country.
