U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas joined Solomon Jones on Wake Up With WURD to talk about Project 2025, the presidential election, and her viral moment on the floor of the House of Representatives.

Lisa Spees is a legal consultant and advocate specializing in wrongfully convicted sentences for prisoners. She joined Evening WURDs with Dr. James Peterson to discuss the case of Marcellus Williams, who was executed in Missouri despite questions about his guilt.

Monica Simpson is the executive director of “SisterSong,” a Southern states-based, Black women-led national reproductive justice collective. She spoke to Tonya Pendleton on Reality Check about the general experiences Black women face while seeking reproductive care in an anti-abortion climate.

Christina Kristofic is an investigative reporter for the Philadelphia Tribune. Solomon Jones on Wake Up With WURD asked Krisotofic about how Black Americans will be potentially affected by the policies within Project 2025.

Greg Jackson is the deputy director of the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention. Representing his office, he joined Solomon Jones on how the newly founded department has made an impact in its first year to prevent gun violence.

Student leader Kayla Miller of Swarthmore College joined P.O.C  on ecoWURD Magazine to discuss the importance of environmental issues and young people in the 2024 election. She stressed the power of grassroots movements and why new voters are essential in 2024.
