Wake Up With WURD: Question of the Day

Question of the day: What is the true legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King?

I have often thought that Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy is woefully incomplete. We celebrate him as an almost mythical figure whose sole purpose was to eradicate racial injustice.
King, if he were alive, would beg to differ with that assessment, because he fought for far more than racial equality. He fought to dismantle the very system upon which racial segregation was built and maintained. He fought to eradicate poverty.

The true legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, we must remember that he was not a mythical man. Having studied and achieved degrees in sociology, what we can determine with certainty; is that he applied the necessary knowledge of where we as a people particularly the “Black Folk” were in need of socioeconomic inclusion. In having dedicated his life to social justice, what became apparently clear, is that there was a society of people whom also believed in Dr. King’s perspectives. The challenges of yesterday and today although different eras, although the contrasts are eerily not the same, we can probably agree that without the historical plateau of collaborative contribution, and without the day of Observance, we would not have a day to assess, renew, and complete the principles of Dr. Martin Luther King, “A Giant of a Man”

Mrs. Hillary Clinton is an accomplished woman. Her political views nationally and internationally are complex. There were so many times when her reputation, prestige, and inherent affluent and influential alliances could have been used to change the socioeconomics of the indigenous natives of the Americas. It is known that Secretary, Mrs. Clinton has a law degree. In researching, what could not be found, was any solid proof that Mrs. Clinton has effectively brought forth legislative changes to any injustices pertaining to the descendants of slaves. Any International Agreements of late have not fully been discussed at the United Nations Level. The Geneva Hauge Laws. Much is Obscured . Voting for Bernie Sanders.

So true. Also, Hillary Clinton as U.S. Secretary of State led the charge to overthrow and recolonize the wealthiest per capita country in Africa, the very successful country of Libya. The citizens of Libya WERE so wealthy since the government divided up the nation’s oil and other resource wealth with the citizens of the country. Now that NATO and the U.S. have occupied and re-negotiated at gunpoint Libya’s oil contracts this wealth of Africa is now flowing to Italy, the U.S. and rest of NATO. NATO/EU/U.S. have murdered righteous government officials and citizens of Libya are suffering greatly now. Demand independence for Libya!
