Last week ended with the news that President Trump and the first lady tested positive for COVID-19, and this week, things got even crazier.
We learned that Trump’s oxygen levels dropped more than once. We learned that he was transported to Walter Reed military hospital. We learned that he was being treated with an experimental drug that’s usually reserved for the worst cases, and then we saw the president leave quarantine in a vehicle and wave to supporters–while he was supposed to be under treatment for a virus that’s killed over 210,000 Americans.
It was one of those, “What’s wrong with this picture?” moments.
What’s wrong with someone who would get into a vehicle and endanger his staffers for a photo op? What’s wrong with someone who would keep pushing lies after learning that so many people in his inner circle had tested positive?
I don’t know, but I do know this. It’s hard to believe what Donald Trump says because he’s lied to us so much.
