Wake Up With WURD’Solomon Jones will appear on HLN’s Nancy Grace tonight (January 26) at 8 p.m. to discuss the heart-wrenching case recently reported in which a baby from Darby, PA was attacked by ferrets owned by her family. Be sure to tune in as Solomon lends his perspective.

Please join us on September 18 at 7:00 P.M. for “Black Power TV,” a panel discussion about the evolution of Black public affairs television during the 1960s and ‘70s through the emergence of local and national programming. WURD’s president and general manager, Sara Lomax-Reese, will moderate the panel.

A group of prominent Black professional athletes and entertainers have united to form “Champions for Choice,” a campaign by the American Federation for Children, that supports “school choice and education reform through charter schools and vouchers.”
