There more options than ever to get free food in and around Philadelphia this summer. For kids and teens in particular (18 and under), there are actually more than 1,000 places in Philadelphia that serve free meals and snacks. Read on for details.

Did you know that nearly 12 percent of Pennsylvanians residents live in households that can’t always afford enough food? The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) now funds a toll-free hotline to help people access food.
