900AM-WURD is committed to ongoing coverage of the August 9 fatal shooting of Michael Brown, an unarmed teenager, in Ferguson, MO. WURD’s Eye on Education series tackles the difficult issues currently facing the Philadelphia education system with a particular focus on models of success both locally and nationally. Our final event is the WURD Speaks: Eye on Education Symposium on September 30 at the Franklin Institute.

900AM-WURD is carrying the livestreaming coverage of the homegoing service for Michael Brown, courtesy of WPDE NewsChannel 15. You may also listen to the service at 900AM in the Philadelphia area, online worldwide at 900amwurd.com, or on the 900AMWURD app for Android or iPhone.
