The Monarchs recently embarked on a civil rights barnstorming tour that will take them to a number of landmarks around the United States, including Birmingham’s 16th Street Baptist Church and Selma’s Edmund Pettus Bridge.

On May 13, 2015, WURD observed the 30-year commemoration of the tragic city government-sanctioned bombing of the Osage Ave. M.O.V.E. residence in 1985.
