WURD Radio will host a special series, Conversation On Violence, to address and explore solutions to violence in Philadelphia. Hosted by Brother Shomari, Monday through Thursday from 4pm to 7pm, September 28th-October 1st, the on air conversations present multidimensional perspectives with different themes each day.
Conversation On Violence will dive deeper into cultural ways of conflict resolution locally, nationally, and globally. Hear directly from residents on the streets who have been impacted by violence. The series will culminate with community-generated recommendations to prevent the epidemic-level violence happening in and around Philadelphia today.
