I am generally OK with my decision not to have children. But every now and then, something will trigger my latent maternal instincts. Remind me that some of the things I hold dear will indeed end with me.

We had an incredible time on October 17, celebrating our 12th year On Air, Online and In the Community at the WURD Wellness Festival at Fox Street!

PABJ’s annual awards gala takes place on Saturday, October 17th. This year, WURD’s own Barbara Grant (host of “Talking Drum”) will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award!

Host Stephanie Renée is joined in-studio by former Philadelphia Eagle lineman Jeremiah Trotter, star of feature film “The North Star,” along with writer/director Thomas K. Phillips and fellow cast member Thomas C. Bartley, Jr.

Hope 4 Philly will feature free food, carnival games, face painting, gospel ministry, free haircuts and employers who will be on-site hiring people! Don’t miss it!

Women in Media was created to empower, equip and encourage women from all walks of life who are in the media field or seek to enter it. Their 3rd Annual Women in Media conference features an amazing line-up!

A few weeks ago, David Welsh, an avid fan of Philly radio and television broadcasters, paid a visit to the Wynnefield branch stop of our Summer of Freedom tour of the Free Library of Philadelphia. Little did we know, David had a lovely photo slideshow/video tribute in mind!

Our Summer of Freedom tour continued on August 26 at The Library for The Blind, when MOJO host Stephanie Renee interviewed Brazilian musician Dende.
